On LinkedIn, I share what more than a decade inside luxury, fashion and retail has taught me, from Selfridges HQ to my own consultancy, with a community of founders, marketers and brand leaders.
Profession: Senior luxury brand and marketing consultant, Fractional CMO, founder of Hannah Alley Consulting
Background: Former Selfridges HQ marketing lead
I have spent more than a decade in luxury, fashion and retail: editorial, global designer licensing with De Rigo (Mulberry, Chopard, Loewe), wholesale and trade marketing, agency work, fragrance and beauty, then Selfridges HQ. There I led integrated marketing and brand partnership strategy across Fashion, Accessories, Fine Jewellery, Watches, Shoes and Leather Goods, on campaigns with houses such as Gucci, CHANEL, Cartier, Tiffany & Co. and Saint Laurent.
Today I advise founders and senior leadership teams on brand positioning, marketing strategy, retail and ecommerce growth, partnerships and consumer behaviour. My commentary has been published or quoted by The Independent, WWD, Retail Week, Glossy and WATCHPRO.
Topics: luxury and premium brand strategy, luxury fashion, retail and ecommerce, consumer behaviour and desirability, brand positioning, brand partnerships, customer experience, fine jewellery and watches, founder-led brands.
My signature format is long written LinkedIn posts, which leave room to build an argument. I also post image-led campaign commentary, case studies, carousels and reactions to industry news. I write for founders, marketers and senior decision-makers, and my luxury expertise also speaks to technology, financial services, professional services and wider B2B brands.
